1. What is the snow removal policy?

During snowstorms and ice storms, no parking is allowed on emergency snow routes (which have signs posted). Avoid parking on streets so plows can clear them.

2. Do I need a permit to build a driveway?

Yes. You must get a right of way permit, which is free of charge. The portion of the driveway in the right of way must be six-inch reinforced concrete. The remainder of your drive can be gravel, asphalt, or concrete.

3. How can I get curb and gutter on my street?

The City may share construction costs with property owners. Usually, the entire block must be involved for a project to be approved. Contact Public Works for an application. This program is limited to available funding.
